Daniels Frameshop

Not all glass is equal! Nor is glass the only material used in framing. The reason for this is simply that the art of framing has evolved to meet the varying framing needs of people.

"The things a customer would have to consider when choosing the glazing for their piece," Daniel reckons, "include where the piece will be displayed; in full sun light, partial, full for part of the day etc, whether or not they need non-reflective glass and to what extent and whether or not they want to access the piece to name a few."

Other things to consider when choosing ones piece of glazing include ones budget. "The material used and the thickness of it make a difference to the cost, says Daniel, "but my staff and I are always at hand to help our clients choose correctly."

Tip: Make sure the glass does not touch the piece being framed.
